Friday, October 31, 2008 Sick is horrible and mean. Falling sick is worse. I was sick with stomach flu (or so hengyeng's doctor thinks) from Sunday to umm Tuesday maybe? Horrible. And I found out Hengyeng and Clarisse-our senior- had/has the same bug as me! =D 'Nyways, Sunday was absolutely vomit-inducing. Literally. And I vomited out my lunch, dinner, and Monday's breakfast. I woke up early to go for piano and 15 minutes into the lesson I began to feel cold. Like, cold. which I have never, in that piano room ever felt before. And I began feeling tired, so I thought I was at least 15 minutes into the lesson. Then I looked up at the clock and it was 17 minutes into lesson time D= So horrible. And by the time it was 40 minutes into the lesson my fingers were stiff and I was cold and tired and I couldn't concentrate on what the teacher was saying. And I forgot my scales! I'd practised them very hard and when my piano teacher asked for G# Minor or something my mind just went blank. So I experimented with the keys and sharps and she was like, "No, you're getting it all wrong!" D: Horrible argh. Then on my way home I took 196 from Parkway Parade and I went onto the upper deck 'cos there's rarely anyone there and I like the ... er, peace and quiet of the upper deck. But it was so freaking cold and I wished I'd brought my warm jacket I'd brushed past that morning. Brrrrr, so I crossed my legs on my seat 'cos no one was around, and the bus driver can't know, 'cos that mirror thing only shows down to our necks, not the seats. And after a few bus-stops, this couple came on and went to the upper deck. So I had to put my legs down and I was shivering and shivering and shivering until Bedok Interchange. And the couple was like, smiling at each other, and murmuring affectionately, and bleugh, etc. And I was like, "I'm dying and they're thinking of creating life" D= GAH. And I was supposed to go tuition and then go out again to watch the Max Payne movie with some ppl. But I was so sick I went straight home and slept for the whole afternoon and ate only the top layer of the fish noodles before feeling too full (Which I vomited out before dinner). 'Nyways, Monday was slightly better but still horrible all the same. I vomited out breakfast, but lunch and dinner stayed warm in my stomach. Tuesday was better, and I went to school for Drama Nite auditions. 113's performance was, as qinrong puts it," The theme was quite good." Does anyone notice the silent, no-comment part about acting? Well, as 9something.somethingFM radio station puts it, "Only listen to/hear the good stuff". Wednesday was Netball Carnival. Our class has three netballers =D I didn't play the first few games, but 113 had 2 draw games and won 3. Then I played as GS, and we won! But I sucked D= 'Cos I thought I could get the ball in and somehow my shot went off by MILES. Aftereffect of stomach flu: Sucky estimation. omg, I was so embarassed. Then we won some more, had more draw games, and lost one game:109. But we won the game against 107! =D (We thought we'd draw or lose it) Then it was result announing time. 113 didn't win anything else D: We found out that 113 had only 14 points for shooting, another separate category. Some people were quite pissed and frustrated when they heard that, especially the players, 'cos they thought we'd lost everything. And 107 won quite a number of stuff like shooting and all. 112 won third in the class flag competition. I thought their flag was very well-designed. The monkey was so cuteeee! And 102 won first for the class flag design. Personally, I thought their flag was quite plain looking and everything looked so straight, but apparently the judges weren't looking at artistic talent and skills. 113 didn't win cheering either, 'cos they couldn't hear the music or something. and 113 didn't win the shooting part either, apparently. In the end, we thought 107 would win be overall champion. Turns out they got second. or third. can't remember. But I do remember that 113 got FIRST =D We were overall champions for netball carn'08, which means we get to have 113 carved onto this huge plaque. We won by like 2 points overall (45) 107 got 43. And everyone was so relieved =D After school we organised a surprise birthday bash for HsinPei! We had a fun time blowing up balloons and eating sushi =D Her house is freaking organised and neat. Surprisingly neat. It has a nice interior, too. Anyway, when she entered, we all yelled 'SURPRISE!' and she was just that! haha Her face was priceless! And she was so happy, it was just worth it=D Then we ate and her mom -who is reallyreallyreally nice- ordered pizza. TWO pizzas. Hengyeng had to leave early, 'cos she was going out later D= Then we went out and explored her condominium. Her pool area is REALLY nice. She has like, 4 or more pools, all for different uses. We dunked her into the pool! And Hsin Pei got really wet, and she was like, "What, is this a birthday dunking?" =D And then we played cards -especially bridge- until quite late and then played hide and seek in an attempt to dump Qinrong but it failed D= And when we wanted to go home Koo was like, "Let's go back after another half an hour" and we ended up going back one hour later haha. Then we took 14 home and when WeiYi got off at Tanah Merah she didn't look up and wave D= Thursday was talks and MTV Hip Hop learning. Haha Hip Hop kinda sucked. The moves were so stupid and the counts were so fast I just didn't do them. And each class was supposed to demonstrate. 113 demonstrated alone, omg. the teacher was like, "They really try, so I let them demonstrate" She must have seen Evan and Yi Xian only and not the rest of us >.< Today is FRIDAY. I waited over an hour for Koo 'cos she had to take the advanced math programme selection test. I read the newest edition of Reader's Digest in the meantime =D And played some icy towers although we aren't supposed to and I was supposed to talk Phoebe out of it but ended up playing it on the class computer instead >.< Then Koo came back and she was quite pissed. I found out that Mrs Ang had told her and the other girl (Annabelle Koong from 110) that she'd be in a half hour meeting so she gave them the test papers. Then while Koo was trying to solve a difficult math problem, she thought so much, she fell asleep, but she woke up and got the answer. But that's beside the point. 'Nyway, after an hour Mrs Ang hadn't come back so she went to find Mrs Ang and in the end Mrs Ang told her to pass to another teacher. Koo spent half the time waiting 'cos apparently she finished the paper quite fast. Then I went home with Koo and Min Ee had to stay back for Drama Nite practice 'cos she's in ELDS. We went to Dhoby Ghaut Mcdonald's. We had McWings! But it was 6.75 D: Burnt a hole in my pocket. And we went home! And that's the end of the interesting part of my day D: 'cos the rest will be used up using the computer =D I've no school on Monday! 'Cos the morning is used for Drama Nite practices and 113 didn't get into the finals so I've no business being there. I only learnt we had no school on Monday during lunch with Koo today.
